Beskrivelse
Hand-knotted from 100% hand spun wool, this 299 cm x 249 cm rectangular rug from the Ziegler collection presents a classic Oriental design. The composition centres on a deep black field populated with all-over botanical palmettes, floral motifs, and delicate vines. A broad cream border frames the perimeter, enriched with detailed floral cartouches and guarded by narrow multi-toned bands. Subdued accent shades of terracotta, rust, beige, and soft sage bring warmth to the intricate detailing, while the thin, hand-knotted wool pile provides a smooth, refined texture underfoot.
Generously sized for expansive living areas, formal dining rooms, or executive offices, this piece serves as a grounding focal point. Place it beneath a dark mahogany or walnut dining suite to highlight the classic aesthetic, or pair it with neutral linen upholstery and warm leather seating in a sitting room. The rich contrast between the jet black ground and ivory borders complements both traditional interiors and transitional decor schemes.
