Beskrivelse
This rectangular 309 cm x 249 cm rug from the Ziegler collection showcases a traditional Persian-inspired medallion design. Hand-knotted from 100% hand spun wool in Pakistan, it features a low, thin pile that feels smooth and durable underfoot. A deep rust-red field grounds the composition, decorated with classical palmettes, scrolling floral vines, and geometric cartouches. The central tiered medallion blends tones of cream, moss green, and navy blue, bordered by a multi-layered frame that harmonises the rich, earthy palette.
Place this rug in a formal living room to anchor a traditional seating arrangement, or position it beneath a dark wood dining table to highlight its symmetrical centrepiece. It also pairs effectively with leather armchairs and mahogany bookshelves in a home office. Complement the warm red and green accents with neutral upholstery, antique brass lighting, and warm oak or walnut flooring.
