Beskrivelse
Hand-knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, this Mamluk Ziegler rug presents an artistic blend of classic Mamluk geometry and contemporary abstract distressing. A detailed central medallion, geometric octagons, and intricate border motifs are overlaid with bold, painterly patches of crimson red, cream, and deep ink. The main field features a rich denim blue tone with subtle abrash variations, creating depth across the low, thin pile. The fine wool construction offers a soft yet durable texture underfoot, finished with clean serged edges.
At 347 cm x 253 cm, this large rectangular rug provides a striking foundation for a living room, dining room, or home office. Position it beneath a dark walnut dining table to complement the rich red and navy accents, or centre it in a seating area with neutral linen upholstery, warm leather armchairs, and brass finishes. The expressive palette works exceptionally well in both modern and transitional interior schemes.
