Beskrivelse
Hand-knotted from 100% hand spun wool, this 360 cm x 284 cm rectangular rug from the Mamluk Ziegler collection showcases intricate geometric and floral artistry. A rich cobalt blue field provides a striking backdrop for an elaborate central star medallion surrounded by octagonal motifs and repeating tessellations. Accents of olive green, ochre gold, terracotta, soft pink, and ivory create a harmonious balance across the surface, framed by a broad cream border with fine botanical vines. The thin, hand-crafted wool pile delivers a smooth, low-profile texture with authentic artisanal character.
The generous dimensions make this piece ideal for defining a formal dining area under a large oak or walnut table. Place it in a spacious living room beneath neutral leather or linen seating to anchor the seating arrangement, or position it in an executive home office. Its traditional palette pairs effortlessly with warm wood finishes, aged brass accents, and earthy neutral textiles.
