Beskrivelse
Hand-knotted from 100% kork wool, this rectangular 284 cm x 190 cm rug from the Tabriz collection showcases traditional Persian pictorial artistry. The design centres on a detailed architectural scene of a mosque courtyard complete with an arched entrance, fountain, and dome, framed by intricate floral sprays on a creamy beige field. An ornate dark navy and brown main border displays delicate arabesques and medallions depicting classical ewers and monuments, balanced by soft blue, green, and tan accents. Its medium-height pile delivers a smooth, substantial feel underfoot, finished with neat fringed ends.
This artistic statement piece serves as a striking focal point in a formal living room, executive home office, or quiet bedroom. Position it centrally beneath a traditional dark walnut or mahogany coffee table, or layer it over polished hardwood and neutral stone floors. The rich palette of terracotta, ivory, beige, and sky blue pairs naturally with leather seating, warm brass accents, and tailored heritage upholstery.
