Beskrivelse
Handmade in Iran from a blend of wool and silk, this 305 cm x 205 cm rug from the Tabriz Mahi collection showcases intricate Persian craftsmanship. The traditional composition centres around an elaborate multi-tiered medallion surrounded by a deep brown and rich wine-toned field. Ornate spandrels and a multi-layered border in olive green, tan, cream, and dark blue frame the design, complete with neat cream fringing at the ends. The medium pile combines the natural resilience of wool with the subtle sheen and fine detail of silk for a smooth, refined texture underfoot.
Position this rectangular piece to anchor a formal living room beneath a leather or neutral linen sofa suite. It fits naturally under a six-seat dining table, where the detailed border creates a defined frame, or beneath the lower two-thirds of a king-sized bed in a bedroom. The warm earth tones and intricate motifs complement dark wood finishes, antique mahogany furniture, and brass hardware in an elegant home office.
