Beskrivelse
Hand-knotted from 100% wool, this 569 cm x 79 cm runner from the Afghan Akhche collection displays classic tribal artistry. A deep burgundy and maroon field serves as the backdrop for a repeating column of traditional gul motifs, framed by intricate geometric borders. Sharp black detailing outlines each element, while subtle beige accents bring precision to the inner patterns. The thin wool pile provides a firm, authentic texture underfoot while highlighting the density of the handmade craftsmanship.
Designed for long indoor spaces, this extended runner brings structure and rich colour to grand hallways, long corridors, and spacious entrance galleries. The rich red palette complements traditional dark wood floorboards, natural oak, and terracotta tiling. Pair it with antique sideboards, brass light fixtures, or neutral cream walls to create a warm, grounded walkway through the home.
