Beskrivelse
Hand-knotted from silk and kork wool, this traditional rug from the Nain collection displays precise classical craftsmanship. A deep burgundy central field frames an intricate ivory and cream medallion, surrounded by dense arabesque palmettes and floral vines. Multi-layered borders in ivory, tan, and soft grey balance the bold centre with fine filigree motifs, finished with delicate white fringing at each end. The thin, tightly knotted pile offers a smooth texture with subtle natural sheen from the silk highlights.
Measuring 249 cm x 157 cm, this rectangular piece suits refined living rooms, formal dining areas, and executive home offices. Position it beneath a dark mahogany desk, in front of a neutral linen sofa, or under a four-seater dining suite. The rich red, cream, and subtle navy accents pair effortlessly with polished hardwood floors, antique furnishings, and warm, traditional palettes.
