Beskrivelse
This piece from the Ultra Vintage collection presents a modern overdyed interpretation of traditional oriental design. Hand-knotted from 100% wool in Iran, it features an intricate medallion and border layout subtly emerging through a distressed, weathered patina. The rich dark blue field is layered with fine black line work and worn ivory accents, resulting in a complex, tonal depth. A flat, low pile provides a smooth, authentic texture underfoot while highlighting the detailed craftsmanship.
Measuring 373 cm x 300 cm, this large rectangular rug serves as a striking foundation for spacious interiors. Place it in a grand living room beneath neutral linen sofas and minimalist black metal coffee tables to balance contemporary and vintage aesthetics. It also coordinates seamlessly in a formal dining area under a dark timber table, or in a primary bedroom suite where deep blue tones ground lighter hardwood or stone flooring.
