Beskrivelse
Hand-knotted from pure silk, this piece from the Hereke Silk collection displays intricate Persian artistry with exceptional clarity. The composition features an ornate central prayer arch surrounded by elaborate floral vines, palmettes, and layered borders. Soft grey and silver tones form the backdrop, complemented by detailed accents in terracotta, olive green, warm ochre, and deep burgundy, completed by delicate fringed edges. The fine silk construction yields a smooth, medium pile with a subtle natural sheen that captures light across the weave.
Measuring 156 cm x 102 cm, this rectangular accent rug suits intimate seating areas, quiet reading corners, and refined entrance halls. Place it beneath a polished mahogany or walnut console table, beside a bed, or in a dedicated home office. Its muted palette pairs naturally with neutral linens, antique timber finishes, and muted earth tones, adding heritage character to traditional and transitional interiors.
