Beskrivelse
Handmade from pure silk, this piece from the Hereke Silk collection showcases a detailed pictorial scene depicting equestrian warriors in battle. The central field displays a warm golden beige ground framed by an ornate, multi-coloured floral and palmette border in rich shades of burgundy, teal, deep blue, cream, and terracotta. Finished with knotted cream fringes on both ends, the silk construction creates a fine texture with a medium pile and a natural lustre that highlights the intricate figurative craftsmanship.
Measuring 94 cm x 67 cm, this compact rectangular rug is well suited as an accent piece or wall hanging in a study, home office, or quiet reading nook. Lay it atop dark hardwood, polished stone, or neutral marble to add narrative interest, or pair it with classic mahogany and antique brass furnishings. Its historic palette complements traditional interior schemes, deep jewel tones, and neutral cream backgrounds.
