Beskrivelse
This 173 cm x 122 cm rectangular rug from the Hereke Silk collection displays a classic prayer niche composition rich in traditional artistry. Hand made from pure silk, the piece features an intricate floral Tree of Life motif set against a central field of soft sky blue. The surrounding spandrels and ornate borders incorporate warm tones of ochre yellow, terracotta, coral, and cream, accented by finely detailed calligraphy cartouches, urns, and avian illustrations. The medium silk pile provides a smooth, supple texture with a subtle natural sheen, finished with neat fringed ends.
Position this colourful traditional rug to anchor a seating area in a living room, beneath a low coffee table, or placed alongside a bed in a master suite. The detailed botanical pattern and rich palette pair naturally with dark mahogany, walnut furniture, antique brass accents, and neutral linen upholstery, making it equally suitable for a refined home office or study.
