Beskrivelse
Crafted from genuine cowhide and leather, this handmade rug from the Cowhide - Patchwork collection presents an intricate geometric basketweave composition. Alternating blocks of vertical and horizontal stitched strips create a dynamic mosaic across the entire surface. The diverse colour palette combines a foundational mix of black, ivory, cream, beige, grey, and rich brown tones, punctuated by vivid accents of ochre yellow and warm amber. The natural hide offers a low to medium profile with smooth, organic hair-on-hide texture, neatly joined with durable stitching.
Measuring 244 cm x 160 cm, this rectangular rug serves as a striking visual focal point in a living room, dining area, or home office. Position it beneath a glass-topped coffee table, a sleek leather sofa, or a contemporary walnut desk to let the detailed pattern show through. The blend of earthy neutrals and bold warm highlights complements mid-century modern, urban industrial, and minimalist interior schemes.
