Beskrivelse
Constructed with precise geometric geometry, this handmade rug from the Cowhide - Patchwork collection brings a structured, modern sensibility to natural materials. Hand-pieced from genuine cowhide and leather, the surface displays an intricate honeycomb mosaic composed of small hexagonal tiles. The multi-coloured palette integrates rich tones of black, chocolate brown, light brown, beige, and ivory, highlighting the varied organic textures and natural hair-on-hide variations. Finished with a medium-pile texture, the flat, stitched construction provides a resilient, smooth underfoot experience.
At 244 cm x 152 cm, this rectangular rug serves as a striking focal point in modern living rooms, bedrooms, or home offices. Place it beneath a clean-lined glass or black metal coffee table, or position it in front of a neutral linen sofa to complement the earthy tones. The dynamic tile motif pairs naturally with mid-century timber furniture, leather armchairs, and warm, minimalist interiors.
