Beskrivelse
This Kundan collection rug displays a traditional Persian pictorial design hand-knotted from pure silk. A central ivory medallion anchors the piece, surrounded by an intricate field of hunting motifs, fauna, flora, and cypress trees. The multicoloured palette brings together warm golden-brown, vibrant magenta, deep teal, and subtle pastel tones framed by elaborate decorative borders. Crafted with a smooth medium pile, the silk construction provides a natural lustre that shifts beautifully under changing light while offering a refined, soft texture underfoot.
At a generous 397 cm x 307 cm, this large rectangular rug is proportioned to define expansive living rooms, formal dining areas, or master suites. Position it beneath a dark mahogany or walnut dining table to complement the rich traditional heritage, or center it within an open seating arrangement paired with velvet upholstery, neutral linen sofas, and brass accents.
