Beskrivelse
Handmade from wool and silk, this 214 cm x 152 cm rectangular rug from the Tabriz collection presents a traditional Persian design with a dense medium pile. The composition displays an intricate central medallion framed by sweeping arabesques, palmettes, and delicate floral vines. Muted mauve and dusty purple tones form the primary ground, accentuated by warm coral borders, soft beige framing, and subtle touches of sage green and gold throughout the ornate motifs. Finished with knotted fringe along the edges, the wool and silk fibres provide natural sheen and clear pattern definition.
Place this piece in a formal living room or dining area to ground seating arrangements atop light oak or dark walnut flooring. The soft pastel palette coordinates naturally with neutral upholstery, linen drapery, and antique or traditional timber furnishings. In a bedroom or home office, it creates an elegant focal point when centred under a bed frame or paired with a classic wooden desk.
