Beskrivelse
Handmade in Iran from silk, this 148 cm x 97 cm rug from the Ghom Silk collection exhibits classic Persian design. The composition centres around an intricate floral medallion framed by detailed urn motifs and scrolling vine work. A rich red field provides high contrast against the dark blue, beige, cream, brown, and olive accents, all enclosed by a multi-layered ornamental border and finished with fine fringed ends. The medium silk pile offers a smooth texture with a natural, subtle sheen that catches the light across the ornate motifs.
Sized for compact and focused interior layouts, this rectangular piece works well as an accent in an entrance hall, home office, or beside a bed. The deep red and navy palette pairs naturally with dark mahogany or walnut furniture, brass fixtures, and neutral cream or warm beige walls. Place it under an armchair or in a study to create an elegant, grounded focal point.
