Beskrivelse
This rectangular 232 cm x 176 cm rug from the Tabriz collection showcases traditional Persian design, handmade from a blend of wool and silk with a medium pile. The composition centres on an intricate floral medallion framed by palmettes, scrolling arabesques, and sweeping spandrels. A rich red field provides a striking background for delicate motifs woven in black, beige, pink, and grey, finished with an ornate multi-tiered border and fringed ends.
Position this rug in a living room to anchor a classic seating area, or place it in a dining room beneath a dark wood or mahogany table. Its balanced proportions also suit a dedicated home office or bedroom. The deep red and black tones pair naturally with traditional leather upholstery, brass hardware, and neutral cream or beige walls.
