Beskrivelse
Hand-knotted from sheep virgin wool, this square rug from the Bachtiar collection displays an intricate garden compartment design across a rich red field. Ogival lattice panels alternate with cypress trees, floral motifs, and stylised birds, framed by a detailed multi-layered ivory and red floral border. The medium wool pile provides natural resilience and a soft, substantial texture underfoot, while the deep red, cream, sage green, gold, and midnight blue tones deliver classic warmth.
Measuring 209 cm x 198 cm, this square format works well to anchor a sitting area in a living room, centred beneath a square coffee table, or placed under a square dining table. Pair it with dark walnut, mahogany, or rich leather furnishings in traditional and eclectic interiors. It also provides a grounded focal point in a spacious home office or library setting, complementing warm neutral walls and brass accents.
