Beskrivelse
Hand-knotted from 100% wool, this square rug from the Bidjar collection presents a classic Persian design originating from Iran. The dense central field showcases an intricate all-over Herati-style pattern dominated by deep red tones, enriched with subtle accents of pink, violet, blue, olive, and grey. A multi-layered border in black and cream frames the composition with elaborate palmettes and scrolling floral motifs. Woven with a substantial medium pile, the piece offers a durable, dense texture underfoot finished with neat fringed edges along the top and bottom.
Measuring 255 cm x 254 cm, this square floor covering suits wide living rooms, open-plan seating arrangements, and square dining areas. Place it beneath a round or square dark wood dining table to highlight its geometric proportions, or use it to anchor a seating area furnished with rich leather sofas and neutral upholstered armchairs. The warm crimson palette pairs naturally with dark mahogany, walnut finishes, and brass accents.
